About " Hand Holding a Lotus "
Lotus is a meaningful kind of flower in most Orient culture, especially in Buddhism and Taoism. The flowers grow from mud but the petals remain upon the contaminated water, just like a person practice good things to become a better individual out of complicated life.
Lotus is the symbol of purity, calmness and virtue. These are the values of many practices and religions in Asian culture.
When practicing Qigong, the image of lotus reminds us that we should never be in an illusion of restless rush and competition, just walk in your life with your consistent pace and direction.
